Friends to lovers is the first romance bookstore in the DC area. We believe in celebrating love, and embracing the stories that bring us joy.

Our story

Friends to lovers opened in mid november in old town, Alexandria. However, 3 days after our grand opening celebration, a fire destroyed our store, meaning we needed to relocate quickly.

since then, we opened up at our current location, 108 N St Asaph St. We are located above Wine gallery 108, who graciously offered to host us until we find our long-term home!
